 Big Sky, Wild Heart

July 21 – July 26, 2027

All inclusive – 6 Days • 5 Nights

Retreat led by Tymi Howard Bender in collaboration with BBar Ranch, Emigrant, Montana — a working cattle ranch and guest retreat bordering Yellowstone National Park, rooted in regenerative agriculture and hospitality.

“I have carried this dream for years — horses, high country, and open sky, a place wild enough to meet you exactly where you are. Now, at last, it’s time to bring it to life.” — T.

Big Sky. Wild Heart.

There’s a version of you that only shows up when the land gets that wide.

Six days, five nights. Nine thousand acres. A working cattle ranch tucked into Montana’s Tom Miner Basin, sharing a six-mile fence line with Yellowstone National Park. This is where we’re headed this July — out of the everyday and into the high country, fully all-inclusive from the moment you arrive.

If you’ve been craving something your routine hasn’t been able to give you — space from your inbox, dirt under your nails, a body that remembers how to move through open country instead of just around a block — this is built for that. A guided hike through Yellowstone National Park, with a real shot at spotting grizzlies and moose along the way. A guided horseback riding excursion through mountain meadows. Mornings in the ranch’s own Yoga Yurt, tucked into the landscape, and quiet ones that don’t start with a notification. Farm-to-table meals, three times a day, sourced from the same land you’re standing on. Tours of a working cattle ranch built on regenerative practice, because understanding a place is its own kind of adventure.

This isn’t a retreat that asks you to disconnect from your life so much as remember what your life is for. No wifi rabbit holes. No hustle. Just horses, mountains, wide-open sky, and a table full of people doing the same brave thing you are — showing up for themselves.

All-Inclusive — 6 Days, 5 Nights

Lodging, meals, a guided hike through Yellowstone National Park, a guided horseback riding excursion, ranch tours — it’s all in. You handle getting yourself to Montana; we handle everything after that.

*Spots are limited and they hold on a first-deposit-first-claimed basis. If this is calling you, don’t sit on it.

Ranch Activities — Included in Your Retreat

Beyond the mat, BBar Ranch invites you to connect with the land, the animals, and the ranching way of life. Practice happens in the ranch’s own Yoga Yurt, tucked into the landscape — and woven into your week:

  • Working Ranch & Farm Tours — See regenerative grazing in action and learn the story behind the ranch’s organic, grass-fed cattle
  • Hangout with Horses — Time to build trust and connection with the ranch horses, on the ground, before ever swinging into the saddle
  • Western History — A look into the legacy of the American West and the land itself
  • Reflective Time in Nature — Space for journaling, meditation, and quiet moments in the Basin

Also on the property, available to enjoy between sessions: a mountain disc golf course winding through sage and pine, and a high-country tennis/pickleball court with mountain views.

Optional Add-Ons

Available on-site, additional fees

For those who want to extend the adventure, BBar’s concierge team can arrange (at extra cost):

  • Whitewater rafting on the Yellowstone River
  • Fly fishing with expert local guides

Getting There

Best airport: Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) — roughly 55–90 minutes’ drive to the ranch depending on route and season, and the drive itself is part of the experience (think Paradise Valley views the whole way).

Transportation to and from the airport is not included, but carpooling is highly encouraged. Past guests always find each other in the group chat — it becomes part of the fun, and you’ll likely land at a similar time as someone else in the group.

Reservation & Deposit

A $1,500 non-refundable deposit reserves your spot and your room choice. This deposit will be deducted from your total balance due, with the remaining balance due by April 1, 2027.

Please email Tymi with room preference, or text. If choosing a double room, please have both reservations ready to book at the same time.
