Infrared heat (IR) are invisible waves of heat energy provided by infrared rays that have the ability to permeate deep into your body (2-7 cm) to all layers of the body, penetrating into the inner layers of skin, tissues, muscles, nerves and bone. IR then boosts local blood circulation, which brings more healing nutrients and pain relieving components to the area, while promoting a detoxifying sweat.
Research in the last decades has proven that this particular frequency of light offers a powerful healing boost to your body on a cellular level.
What does Infrared heat feel like?
Infrared rays heat surfaces, not the air, so it’s the same as the feeling of warmth from the sun on your face and the heat from a coal fire. It is even the same form of heat emitted by your own body. It’s a comfortable heat, not stifling.
**Though hot yoga and infrared heat are shown to have documented health benefits for many, caution should always be exercised when exposing the body to excessive heat during pregnancy, infancy, children under the age of 13 and in the senior years to avoid dehydration, electrolyte imbalance and heat stroke. Contact your health care provider before beginning a regime of infrared exposure to assess if it is right for you.
Hot Vinyasa Flow
This Hot Flow is an infrared heated, vigorous vinyasa flow yoga practice. Temperature is approximately 90-95 degrees. Postures are linked together with rhyme and reason in a dynamic, sequence designed to cultivate heat, stamina, flexibility, and strength. This practice will also help you manage your emotions and stress in a healthier way. Every session is unique.

Slow flow, smooth and mindful movements that are alignment focused and ignite your body using the breath to its rhythms. Connecting the mind and body to create space through gentle and heart felt transitions that will leave you at ease and balanced. ALL LEVELS WELCOME. (Infrared Heaters 90-95 degrees)
Power Lunch Flow
This is a strong powerful, vinyasa-style practice. Postures are linked together with rhyme and reason - in a dynamic, sequence designed to cultivate heat, stamina, flexibility, and strength. This practice will also help you manage your emotions and stress in a healthier way. Every session is unique.
Options are offered for experienced yogis and modifications for those that want to dial down the postures. Not recommended for brand new/first-time yogis; Vinyasa Flow 1, Yoga Basics or Hot Beginner Yoga on our schedule prepares you for this class. This class uses Infrared Heaters. Temperature will be around 90-95.
